I.H.T. Business Workplace
I.H.T. (In-House Training) is a class held in the workplace setting. Meaning the students are the employees and the teacher is the supervisor. The employer is that of the community. The I.H.T. class provides an opportunity for students to experience a workplace atmosphere before actually entering the workforce. This is a non-profit community service.
The class will be provided with jobs given from the community to the instructor, James Zimmer. Each student will be given the chance to choose which job to begin working on. Students will be given a deadline to complete each project. Completed projects will be passed on to the employer. The employer will be given a customer satisfaction form to be given back to the instructor.
This service is open to all Belle Plaine community members. Jobs performed by the I.H.T. class are flyers, brochures, menus, business cards, etc. To request this service contact James Zimmer at (620) 488-2421 or by e-mail, jzimmer@usd357.k12.ks.us
